Life after getting a job
I'm writing in green because having some "green" will be the different state that we will be in. This means planning that involves money. I need to activate my Professional Associations, get a new car cover for the Miata, fix the glove box and the tape player so I can listen to books on tape and after my first check, I may get a bottle of single malt or Don Pablo anejo.
Donna is still mortified that I lost my job and is utterly embarrassed around her family. That's funny because her sister Karen's husband has a job that does not bring in any money at all and her large family of hungry kids subsists on her meager part time accountant job at a dentist's office in Atlanta!
Well, back to the job. I have a few days to get house projects done before I start. I need to get to them quickly too because hurricane Frances is coming up the coase and it already is grey out there. I guess I'll concentrate on the job when I have it.
