A Weekend in September

Bright sunlight, dry weather, and slowly drying leaves, which fall to the grass are the things you see. A light breeze and spiders trying to get a late season meal along with crickets jumping around before the first frost are the things we see. The spider webs hit you in the face when you go out to remove the trash or water. A dead dragon fly lays on the driveway. Once invincable, incapable of being caught, the dragon fly is dry, brown and crisp. I tried to sweep the dead carcus away from the piano students, but it kept coming back in the walkway.

This is the time to get the house ready for the winter, but I have to work my Interim Principal job. I take some time every weekend to do some of the needed projects.
