Summer Rain
it starts as a dribble, then gets heavier. The thunder starts. I pull the plants out from under the gazebo so they can get natural rain water. The wind increases, the arborvitae begin to bend over resisting the wind. The water pours off the canvas covering to the gazebo. it is hard to see through all the rain. The grass and the plants need the rain but the primer that we put on the French doors to the deck doesn't need all this moisture.
I worked very hard today getting the doors fixed. They had to have the outside moulding replaced. I did so with composite material brick mold instead of wood. The wood part was treated with linseed oil. The parts were measured, but, planed, and sanded, then glued and screwed into place. It took a lot of measuring and thinking before cutting.
