March '05 Madness

I'm not talking about basketball games. It's all the things getting done. Here are a few things:
Went to see how our piano was doing in Passaic. Picked out the stain color, saw it in pieces all over the place.
Got the second check for the piano. Signed it off to the piano company.
Took apart a bicycle wheel to throw away the rim and save the double-butted stainless spokes.
Got a call from the constuction company who is going to give us a cash settlement for doing the drywall ceiling. I'll pay for supplies and pocket the rest for possibly a bike?
Cleaned up the basement a bit and found out how to get the air out of the baseboard circulation system.
Rode on my track bike some. I was surprised how quickly I adapted to the technique of fixed-gear.
Did a lot of cooking. Pork, meatballs, more pork, Mexican, shrimp, etc.
Watched Damon watch March Madness Basketball.
Spot seeded and fertilized the front lawn. Took thatch out of the grass too.
Conditioned our antique books with liquid mink oil. Worked well; made the leather very soft.
Did various house repairs. Did the wash, Did the dishes, washed the car, filled the washer fluid.
Read the book "Wales" and did a lot or research on the Web.
Looked into living wills, long term care, joined AARP.
Had arguments with Donna.
Tried to figure out what I was going to do.
Planned a trip to take Mom Wyatt to see Hannah.
